Nothing Phone (3) with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, Triple 50MP Cameras and Headphone (1) Launched
Nothing officially launched its new flagship smartphone, the Phone (3), alongside its first over-ear audio product, the Headphone (1), at a global event held in London on 1 July 2025. The company continues to build on its transparent design identity and ecosystem-first strategy, with both products featuring signature aesthetics, premium specifications, and AI-centric enhancements aimed at productivity, creativity, and immersive experiences.
The Nothing Phone (3) features a 6.67-inch flexible AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness. The bezels have been reduced to just 1.87mm, offering a nearly full-screen experience. Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, supported by a 5,150mAh battery for the global variant, while the India-specific model includes a slightly larger 5,500mAh unit. Charging speeds remain fast with support for 65W wired and 15W wireless charging. The device runs Nothing OS 3.5 based on Android 15, with a confirmed upgrade path to Nothing OS 4.0 based on Android 16. Nothing also promises five years of Android OS updates and seven years of security patches.
Camera capabilities have received a major boost, with the Phone (3) offering a triple rear camera setup—each sensor being 50MP. This includes a main sensor, an ultra-wide camera, and a periscope telephoto lens offering up to 3× optical and 120× digital zoom. The front camera is also a 50MP sensor, and all four cameras are capable of recording 4K video at 60fps. On the rear, the phone introduces a redesigned Glyph Interface that now integrates 489 micro-LEDs in a dot-matrix layout. It supports new applets such as a timer, stopwatch, Magic 8 Ball, and even interactive mini-games, without turning on the main screen.
Accompanying the phone, the newly unveiled Headphone (1) marks Nothing’s first entry into the over-ear audio space. The headphones feature a transparent earcup design combined with an aluminium headband and viscoelastic ear cushions for comfort. Co-developed with high-end audio brand KEF, the headphones are equipped with 40mm drivers and offer adaptive noise cancellation, support for Hi-Res Audio via LDAC, and multi-point Bluetooth connectivity. They also support spatial audio and include physical controls for playback, ANC modes, and app switching. Battery life is rated up to 80 hours without ANC and 35 hours with ANC enabled. Fast charging via USB-C delivers up to 2.4 hours of playback in just five minutes.
Pricing and Availability
In terms of pricing, the Phone (3) starts at $799 for the 256GB variant and $899 for the 512GB model. The phone is available in two colour options—Black and White. Pre-orders begin on 4 July 2025, with open sales starting 15 July 2025 in global markets, including India, Europe, and North America. The Headphone (1) is priced at $299 / €299 / £299, with pre-orders also opening on 4 July and shipping scheduled for 15 July 2025.
With the launch of the Phone (3) and Headphone (1), Nothing aims to solidify its position in both the premium smartphone and personal audio markets by blending bold design, AI features, and long-term software support. The company’s transparent product design continues to be its hallmark, while its growing ecosystem hints at broader ambitions in consumer tech.
