OPPO has started rolling out the August 2025 update for ColorOS 15, which will reach eligible devices in batches from August 13 to August 31. The rollout includes several OPPO Find and Reno series smartphones.

BeaconLink: Enables offline communication, letting users send texts, images, and voice messages to nearby devices without an internet connection.

Split View: Offers full customization of split-screen multitasking without fixed ratios, allowing users to adjust screen size as needed.

Notifications in landscape mode are now shown in a simplified banner format. Users can swipe down to open apps in a floating window instead of full screen, reducing interruptions.
Private Safe

Users can now share images and videos directly in Private Safe.

Album covers for images or videos can be customized.

Sorting and viewing of media files by time is supported.

Unlimited file storage in the Documents section of Private Safe, up from the previous 500-file limit.

Rollout Timeline
The update will be delivered in phases until August 31, 2025. Not all users will receive the notification immediately, as OPPO is pushing the update gradually.
