OnePlus 11 Receives Major July 2025 OxygenOS 15 v840 Update
In early August 2025, the OnePlus 11—launched in January 2023—received its OxygenOS 15 July 2025 update, firmware version CPH2447_15.0.0.840(EX01), with a ~0.98 GB package. The update brings the July Android security patch, which includes fixes for system vulnerabilities and improves stability through updated kernel and Knox protections. It also introduces a “Temporarily block” feature allowing users to swipe up on banner notifications to suppress alerts while gaming or watching videos. Additionally, a new “Restart” shortcut appears in Quick Settings, making rebooting easier under any circumstances. Based initially in India, the rollout is expected to expand globally soon, with broader regional availability anticipated in the coming weeks.
Performance-wise, users report improved responsiveness and smoother animations, with enhanced Mini Window drag support allowing floating apps to be placed near the bottom of the screen. The update also fixes a display positioning bug that caused misalignment under certain UI elements. The inclusion of full-screen multi‑screen control and “Mind Space” memory archiving features, previously rolled out on the OnePlus Open, are also being extended to other devices, hinting at deeper AI‑driven usability across the OnePlus lineup. This marks another step toward OnePlus’s commitment to monthly feature-rich maintenance, enhancing security and usability across flagship and foldable models.
