Vivo V60 to Launch in India as a Camera-Centric Smartphone
Vivo is set to launch the Vivo V60 in India on August 12, positioning it as a camera-focused device for photography enthusiasts. The V60 is essentially a rebranded version of the Vivo S30 launched earlier in China and boasts a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate for a fluid visual experience. The smartphone runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, pairing powerful performance with energy efficiency. One of the standout features is its large 6,500mAh battery supporting 90W fast charging, ensuring long-lasting usage and quick recharges. For imaging, the Vivo V60 features a notable triple-camera system co-developed with Zeiss optics, comprising a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope lens offering 3x optical zoom. The front camera is no less impressive, featuring a 50MP sensor for high-quality selfies and video calls. These specifications suggest Vivo’s strong commitment to delivering flagship-level camera technology in a mid-range device. The Vivo V60 aims to compete with other camera-centric phones in its price range while offering a balanced performance and feature set for Indian consumers.
