Aws management console introduces settings for service and region visibility

AWS has introduced Visible Services and Visible Regions settings in the Management Console, allowing users to customize which services and regions are displayed. This feature simplifies navigation and is available at no additional cost.

AWS has announced the general availability of new settings in the AWS Management Console that allow users to control the visibility of services and regions. These features, known as Visible Services and Visible Regions settings, enable account holders to customize which services and regions are displayed to authorized users within their account. This enhancement is designed to help users quickly identify the resources accessible to them, thereby simplifying navigation.

The configuration of these settings can be done directly in the AWS Management Console by accessing the Unified Settings under the Account Settings tab. Additionally, these settings can be managed programmatically using the User Experience Customization (UXC) feature through AWS Command Line Interface (CLI), AWS Software Development Kits (SDKs), AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), or AWS CloudFormation.

The Visible Services and Visible Regions settings are accessible in AWS Commercial Regions without any additional fees. For more detailed information on how to implement these settings, users can refer to the AWS User Experience Customization documentation and the API guide.
