AWS IoT services launch in Tel Aviv and Milan regions
AWS has launched its IoT Core and IoT Device Management services in the Israel (Tel Aviv) and Europe (Milan) AWS Regions, enhancing service capabilities for local businesses.
AWS has announced the availability of its IoT Core and IoT Device Management services in the Israel (Tel Aviv) and Europe (Milan) AWS Regions. This expansion allows businesses operating within these areas to enhance their service offerings to local customers by providing improved response times, enhanced data residency options, and lower data transfer costs.
AWS IoT Core is a managed cloud service designed to securely connect billions of IoT devices to the cloud, allowing for scalable management. It facilitates the routing of trillions of messages between IoT devices and AWS endpoints using bi-directional industry-standard protocols such as MQTT, HTTPS, and LoRaWAN in select regions.
Meanwhile, AWS IoT Device Management offers customers the ability to search, organize, monitor, and manage connected devices remotely and at scale. The inclusion of these services in the new regions brings the total number of AWS Regions offering AWS IoT services to 27 worldwide.
